Where are our products made?

Our finished products designed are hand-tied, by me, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

 

Can you pick up jigs locally?

Absolutely, I love meeting my customers. I'm conveniently located in Virginia Beach (near Lynnhaven Rd and Virginia Beach Blvd) and can meet in the area as needed.

 

Are the jigs available to purchase in local Virginia Beach tackle shops?

As of today, NO. But......

 

Are the feathers fragile, and how should I store them?

Yes, of course, they're feathers. That being said, they're more durable then you may expect. The biggest risk is how you store them and care for them. First of all, the feathers are dyed and you will see dye bleeding from them periodically, especially when new. So, don't be surprised. Rinse with fresh water after use and allow to dry completely before storage. Lastly, I store them in 1.7" plastic tubes cut to 10" lengths (or paper towel rolls) for the ultimate protection.  

 

Who do I get my feathers and jig heads from?

Currently I do not respond to these requests. As you can imagine I get asked this repeatedly. Look, I'm a business and trying to make it in this big world. I sourced my materials, set up my accounts, got my business license, and validated the vendors I use personally.

 

What type of feathers do we use?

We currently use high quality feathers that are sourced and produced IN the United States.

 

Do we make our own jig heads?

No, I do not make my own jig heads. Why? I leave that to the pros and have no desire to make my own at this time. The jig heads are hand-made by a small business who professionally hand pours 1000's of jigs every year and custom paints the product to our requirements. And they do it with perfection. 

 

What type of jig heads do we have available?

The majority of our jigs are tied on the Octopus Style heads. Why? Because we, and our customers, love them. Period....

Some products are tied on Squid heads, and our Eel pattern is generally tied on a Spire head (bullet head). I do have access to many other styles from 1/4oz through 8oz.

 

What hooks are the jigs made with?

All of our big game jigs come with Mustad 2x-strong hooks. Generally we use the 8/0 as a standard, but special orders and special ties come with 9/0 at times. View the product details, I always say which hook is used in a design.  

Do we take custom jig orders?

Yes, we have over 60 different colors and types of feathers to choose from and happy to tie custom jigs to your request. If special color heads are requested there is an additional lead-time, typically around 1-2 weeks. For custom orders, please contact us to begin the dialog. 

 

Do we make anything besides Feather Jigs?

YES! We tie with Feathers, Buck tail, AND Synthetic materials. Watch for a new line of products to be released in 2026.
