Who is behind Cobia Kraken Jigs?
Me, just me.... Fly & Jig Artist, Sean Swatsky. A hardcore fly fisherman and fly tying enthusiast with over 30 years of experience tying and designing fly patterns, mainly streamers. My main focus has been for targeting Trout, Salmon, Steelhead, Musky, Pike, Striped Bass, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Snook, Cobia, Tarpon and Permit. I started designing, building and selling saltwater jigs in early 2025 and opened the online store August 1, 2025. I am a legal business entity located in Virginia Beach. I can ship direct or meet up in-person for hand-to-hand transactions.
I'm working extremely hard to make this successful and to provide the best customer experience possible. If you enjoy the products you purchase, please share and tag us on Social Media and spread the word with your friends. When you catch a fish on the jigs, send me a picture and the story, it means everything to me. I put my heart into every jig I tie. This summer I received a bulk order of Jig Heads and feathers so I can bring you a ton of options. Every single feather is hand selected. I touch every single feather looking for flaws, cracks, breaks, tears, lengths and other imperfections to ensure the highest quality finished product possible. Every single jig is glued and every head wrap is glued and resin coated for durability. I stand behind them and I fish them as well.
I AM a small business. This means I am the artist, the marketing team, the web designer, the sales team, shipping department, the buyer, and the accountant.
The trust and acceptance by the local fishing community has been overwhelming. I appreciate everyone that has ordered, from Virginia Beach, to the Eastern Shores, OBX and down to Florida.
