Cobia Kraken Jigs / Salt Addict Lures is a Virginia Beach–based tackle company specializing in custom handmade saltwater jigs, trolling lures, fly patterns, and daisy chains. Founded by Sean Swatsky, the brand is built on more than 30 years of experience designing and tying fly fishing patterns for serious anglers.
Launched in early 2025 with the debut of its Feather Jig product line, Cobia Kraken Jigs was created with one mission: deliver innovative, field-tested tackle engineered specifically for hardcore saltwater anglers. Every product is carefully designed, rigorously tested on the water, and refined to perform in demanding conditions.
2026 brought growth. I began working on other projects to compliment my customer's requests and dove head-first into more offshore products. This was the beginning of Salt Addict Lures which better represents current business model which includes offshore trolling lures, saltwater rigging, and specialty saltwater jigs (Cobia Kraken Jigs).
From targeting powerful Cobia and hard-fighting Red Drum (Bull Redfish), to pursuing Striped Bass, Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and other pelagic species, Salt Addict Lures remains committed to helping anglers fish with confidence and create products tailored to their specific needs.
Today, Cobia Kraken Jigs / Salt Addict is trusted by local anglers, charter captains, and tackle shops from the Gulf Coast to New England — proof that small-batch craftsmanship and hands-on experience still matter in modern sportfishing.
